Many young people struggle to make the transition from education to work. Traineeships are designed to prepare young people for Apprenticeships and their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready’.
Our Traineeships programmes:
- Create opportunities for employers to work with young people with a view to employing them as a future apprentice.
- Aim to support employers in meeting their local community and labour market needs.
- Offer government funded incentives.
- Access to up to date support from KEITS’ highly trained and qualified staff.

And for the Trainees:
- Work preparation training which ensures you have the skills and confidence needed for an Apprenticeship or any other type of employment.
- Support to improve your maths, English and digital skills.
- Meaningful work experience which provides insight and experience of the world of work.
