Traineeships are a stepping stone to future success for young people, businesses and the wider economy.
Employers consistently report that young people applying for job or Apprenticeship vacancies often lack the work related skills and attitudes they need to secure and sustain employment. This is a gap that we at KEITS want to fill through the development of our Traineeship programme.
If you have been unsuccessfully applying for Apprenticeships or other jobs due to a lack of skills and experience, then you might be a good candidate for a Traineeship:
- Motivated to get a job, but lack the skills and experience that employers are always looking for?
- Looking for work preparation training that will ensure you are ‘work ready’ and have confidence to take the first step in your career, or into an Apprenticeship?
- Looking for meaningful work experience which provides insight and experience of the world of work and makes you more attractive to potential employers?
- Unemployed and aged 16 to 23 yrs and are struggling to find employment?
KEITS Traineeships are designed to put you in a better position to compete for an Apprenticeship, or other job opportunities. We will give you the chance to build your CV, gain vital work based experience with local employers and then assist you in job search activities. Alongside the work based learning, they will also offer you the chance to improving your English and maths skills, which will boost your chance of securing a job, as well as improving your long term prospects and earning potential over your lifetime.
Traineeships are an ‘education and training programme’ and are UNPAID, though employers may support you with expenses such as transport and meals. You may also be eligible to access other financial support, depending on your circumstances.
If you are interested in becoming a Trainee, please call or text Christine Sharman 0208 327 3800, mobile 07891 860 571 or e-mail at email@example.com.
