CH Eventing is a busy event yard in Tetbury and is the base of International Event Rider Caroline Harris. Aston Farm offers fantastic facilities and is home to18 horses ranging from 4yos to 5* Eventers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Event Groom to join an International Event Yard.
Duties will include but not limited to;
Mucking out
Turning out/Catching in
Feeding and Watering
Grooming day to day
Lunging
Hacking and Fitness work for the right candidate
Preparing horses for competition
Competition grooming for the right candidate both in the UK and Internationally
Desired Skills and Qualities
Hard working
Applicants should have some previous experience of dealing with horses and MUST show this on their application
Team Player
Good Communication
Reliable
Desired Qualifications:
Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above
Applicants must not already hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in the equine sector to be eligible for this apprenticeship.

Training
Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
