The tailored pathways are Animal Care and Welfare, Zoos/wildlife Establishments, Dog Grooming, Pet Care and Retail, Animal Training and Service Dog Handling. High achievement rates have been seen across all pathways which has improved learners job prospects and in many cases, allowed learners to progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship in Animal Care.
Eligibility
There is government funding available for this qualification in Animal care and one of the main criteria is that you have a contract of employment of 30 hours a week.
