An apprenticeship will finish with an End Point Assessment (EPA) assessed by an Internal External Assessor (IEPA). EPA is sector specific and may involve practical assessments, written tests, professional discussions and review of evidence. No, not all apprenticeships require you to have previous GCSE’s. You will have to gain functional skills during your course if you do not already hold them.
