Yes, you are employed and have all the same rights as any employee and will have a contract of employment in place including hours, holiday, sick pay and benefits.
No, all your training and assessments are undertaken in the workplace, online and others your Training Consultant may visit you.
An apprenticeship will finish with an End Point Assessment (EPA) assessed by an Internal External Assessor (IEPA). EPA is sector specific and may involve practical assessments, written tests, professional discussions and review of evidence. It is to evidence that your learner has all the relevant industry skills and knowledge to be able to pass the apprenticeship. Click here to view our EPA information poster.

Yes, as long as it is at a higher level or a different sector with substantially different content.
You have to be 16 years of age to do an apprenticeship and have finished your last required year at school and completed your GCSE’s. There is no maximum age limit for an apprenticeship.
No, not all apprenticeships require you to have previous GCSE’s. You will have to gain functional skills during your course if you do not already hold them.
