About this opportunity:

Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club we have an exciting opportunity to join our operations team as an Apprentice Grounds Person. The Apprentice Grounds Person will support the maintenance and upkeep of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. This role provides hands-on training and development in grounds maintenance, landscaping, and horticulture, working under the supervision of experienced staff while progressing towards Level 3 Advanced Sports Turf Technician. This apprenticeship will be allocated to a suitable apprenticeship provider.

  • Good level of physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Basic understanding of health and safety awareness

  • Interest in horticulture, landscaping, or environmental work
  • Previous experience (paid or voluntary) in outdoor work or gardening
  •  IT literacy (e.g., diaries, Microsoft Office)
