Congratulations to Charlie Petts on being named KEITS first Learner of the Month for 2024.
Charlie’s Supervisor Adrian said:
‘I was so impressed with the initiative Charlie shows to get ahead with his apprenticeship. After learning that a requirement of the course would be to identify grasses, at different stages of their lifecycles, he went ahead and contacted companies asking if he could get some samples. This approach bore fruit, and All Things Rural sent Charlie several small bags containing the seeds of different grass species. Charlie has now planted these up into pots and has been making observations on how they develop from germination to maturity.”
Charlie’s Training Consultant said:
“Charlie has been diligent and committed since day one. He has stayed ahead of progress with his work and his off the job training hours. It is testament to Adrian’s support at Brighton College as well as Charlie’s dedication and great work ethic. He is a credit to both Brighton College and KEITS and we are very proud of him!”
