Congratulations to George Wheeler Sport Turf Apprentice from Kingston University who has been named KEITS Learner of the Month for June.
George’s Manager Mike Hitt said;
“George has been an excellent addition to the Kingston University sportsground team. He has built up positive relationships with all his colleagues. George has grasped many of the practical skills, including using machinery, preparation of cricket wickets and marking out sports pitches. He has also worked hard at his learner-based education. He takes in instructions and follows guidance well. George has the support of Scott Porter, who completed his apprenticeship with KEITS last year. Scott has shared his knowledge and been an outstanding work buddy for George. Scott has now become a permanent member of the University sportsground staff. George works hard, is an excellent timekeeper and follows direction from his more experienced work colleagues”
Joanna, George’s Training Consultant said;
“George is a relatively new learner, but already stands out in terms of his work ethic, positivity and dedication. His off the job training hours are way ahead, which means he’s getting consistent training at work. He is ahead of progress with his work and always responds positively to feedback and work resubmission requests. All in all, a learner whom I can see going from strength to strength, well done George!”
Well done George and good luck for the rest of your apprenticeship and your EPA.
