Firstly, Congratulations to Dana Phil, a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom at Witcham Stud for being KEITS Learner of the month for October.
Dana’s employer Sally Wilkin said; ‘She is a breath of fresh air, so keen and committed’
Her Assessor Claire Wicking said; ‘she is an absolute gem. The effort that she puts into her work makes the marking pleasurable. The visits are a delight as she is always prepared and very eager to absorb any information that you give her .
Secondly, a special recognition award goes Matt Carless for the completion of his Level 2 Framework in Horticulture with Nurture Landscapes.
His assessor Linda Cawley said: ‘Matt struggled with his lessons at school and started his apprenticeship with a previous employer before transferring to KEITS last July. He has improved so much in so many ways over the course of his apprenticeship and I am very proud he has achieved this’.
His employer said ‘Fantastic news and we are in the process of making Matt a full time member of staff, we will also be having a presentation from Peter Fane, MD of Nurture Landscapes, of a certificate and voucher for completion of his apprenticeship.’
Well done Dana and Matt.
