Success for Sporting Futures Training Apprentice Jack Morrell

Jack is currently undertaking a PE and School Sports Apprenticeship at Bishop Wood School in Tring.

Jack is currently undertaking a PE and School Sports Apprenticeship at Bishop Wood School in Tring. A recent highlight of his Apprenticeship role came last week as he arranged a visit to the School from Michael McGrath. Michael is the first and currently only disabled person in the world to have successfully led expeditions to the North and South Poles. He is also co-founder of the Charity “The Muscle Help Foundation”.

The Charity has a single focus and has so far delivered 171 Muscle Dream experiences. During his incredibly moving speech at the Junior School Michael McGrath highlighted Jack‟s involvement in the 2012 Para-Olympic Games as part of the Muscular Warriors Team.

Jack summed up the event “It was a huge success and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed listening to Michael’s speech. This was a great experience for them and they were fascinated by his expedition journey. It gave everyone a different perspective of peoples abilities and what can be achieved in life”.
