Who are they?

The Department for Education are a department of the government who are responsible for education and training and ensuring it is implemented correctly. What do they do for apprenticeships?

Because the Department for Education are responsible for everything education it means they are responsible for apprenticeships. They regularly monitor the performance of apprenticeships and ensure they are meeting the needs of the industries and the learners who are taking them.
