KEITS training consultant Andrea has let us know that her apprentice Leah from Needham Canine Adventures, completed her Animal Care Level 2 – Interaction & Handling End Point Assessment last Saturday (20th July) and did amazingly and achieved a Distinction for both the practical and professional discussion assessment. Achieving an overall Distinction!
This was the overall feedback provided by the EPA:
“I was extremely impressed with Leah’s knowledge of legislation and the processes and procedures of her work place, and her role within that. Her use of technical language was excellent throughout, she showed an in depth understanding of the issues we discussed and her answers were long and detailed with lots of examples to back up what she was saying.
She was very careful and methodical with her work in the practical and every potential hazard was identified and prepared for. She worked dynamically dealing with any issues that arose during the practical’s as well.
I could not find any suggestions for improvement in either the practical or professional discussion and I’m sure Leah will excel in anything she undertakes. Very well done Leah!”
As the feedback reads Leah completed her EPA at an incredible standard. Leah worked extremely hard throughout her apprenticeship to complete the work to a high standard and learn more about the topics we covered. Leah created an impressive showcase for her EPA to support her in her professional discussion. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Leah and wish her all the best for the future.
Let’s find out how Leah found her apprenticeship:
“I thought the apprenticeship had a lot for me to learn about different animal behaviours and their welfare needs. It was very interesting learning about everything and I enjoyed it. I’m very happy and confident with my results and my experience over the year. KEITS have been very kind and helpful throughout my apprenticeship so thank you so much. “
A huge well done Leah from all at KEITS!
