August is here, so that means only one thing..
It’s LEARNER OF THE MONTH time. This month brings us not one but TWO awards being celebrated.
The first is Jade, nominated by her training consultant Jo for passing her Animal Care Apprenticeship with grade Distinction.
A few words from Jo:
“I would like to formally congratulate Jade in achieving her apprenticeship this month, with a grade of **Distinction!** Jade has been a true pleasure to work with over the last 12 months and I will miss the dedication and enthusiasm she brings to each of our training sessions, whether remote or face to face. Jade began her apprenticeship having never worked in the animal sector before, and due to the nature of the larger animals in her working collection, had to adapt quickly. Immediately, Jade learnt all she could regarding the behaviours and social groupings of the animals in her care, ensuring she could always provide the best welfare for them. Jade has had to face her own challenges alongside her apprenticeship, but her care and compassion for the animals never wavered and is an example to others. Jade will be moving on from this placement, but I wish her all the luck on her new career as a park ranger in the London Boroughs. The very best of luck, Jade.”
Secondly, we have Holly at Dacorum Borough Council nominated by her Training Consulant, Linda.
Linda has said:
“Holly is very conscientious and completes all her coursework on time and to a very high quality. She is ahead on her course progression and is progressing so well with her plant identifications. Holly is attentive in all sessions and is an absolute pleasure to teach!”
Well done to both learners, we have no doubt that your future careers are bright! Thank you for all your hard work that you have both put into your apprenticeships!
