The Level 2 Retailer apprenticeship will suit any business that is selling a product, whether that’s a busy pet shop, café or garden centre! A retailer can work in any kind of retail outlet, both large of small.
The role of the retailer is to advise on and sell products and services in a customer-centred retail environment. Retailers provide information and advice to customers regarding stock, products, different ways customers can shop and various payment methods.
A retailer will be responsible for maintaining business standards; ensuring stock is presented, replenished and available for the customer to purchase.
Retailers work to meet or exceed customer expectations and will be answering customers enquiries.
The Retailer Standard is delivered using a blended learning methodology which includes both face to face visits and remote training sessions. The apprenticeship will finish with an End Point Assessment (EPA) assessed by an Independent External Assessor (IEPA). The EPA is sector
