It’s #wednesday in #nationalapprenticeshipweek 2024..
and today’s these is #ApprenticeWednesday
Let’s start by meeting Ben, a KEITS equine apprentice.
Ben is working towards his level 2 Equine Apprenticeship. Ben says:
“I absolutely love my apprenticeship and my job. I work as a carriage driver for funerals, weddings and other events. It’s what I’ve always wanted to do.
My employers are SO supportive and I know I am a valued member of the team. They and KEITS are so knowledgeable, I know I am learning from the very best. Without my apprenticeship and this opportunity I’m not sure I’d have been able to get into this industry.
Townies have taught me how to care for and produce horses to an incredibly high standard. I hold my head up high with pride on every job. I am very lucky. To anyone thinking about taking an equine apprenticeship I HIGHLY recommend one!”
Let’s look at some other learner stories here:
Dulcie below, who is now an equine groom after completing both her level 2 and level 3 apprenticeships in horse care with distinction!
