The role of Team Leader is found in businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries and sectors. This apprenticeship is ideal for supervisors and first line managers and those that aspire to such roles. You will cultivate the skills to support, manage and develop team members, manage projects, plan and monitor workloads and resources. You will also learn how to resolve problems, build effective working relationships and take responsibility for delivering operational plans.
On completion, apprentices may choose to register as Associate members with the Chartered Management Institute and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management, to support their professional career development and progression.

Course Content
The Team Leader Standard comprises of ten core topic areas which will cover both knowledge and skills:

- Management of Self

- Operational Management
- Project Management
- Decision Making
- Finance
The apprentice will also develop Core Behaviours including the ability to take responsibility, inclusivity, agility and professionalism.

Delivery Method
The Team Leading Standard is delivered through a predominantly remote learning methodology. The apprenticeship will finish with an End Point Assessment (EPA) assessed by the Independent External Assessor (IEPA). The EPA is sector specific and may involve practical assessments, written tests, professional discussions and review of evidence.
Expected Duration
12 -18 months with a minimum of 12 months.
